Call You and Yours - How do you keep your children safe online?

New figures from the media regulator Ofcom show children spend more time online and prefer YouTube and Netflix to traditional television. How do you monitor it and keep them safe?

Children in the UK are spending more time online than they are watching traditional television, according to a report from the media regulator OFCOM. YouTube and subscription services Netflix are the most popular and 70% of 12-15 year old's say they take their mobile phone to bed with them. The children surveyed in the research say they prefer watching content online because they're in control of their viewing habits and it's tailored towards them. That's alarming for parents, with the report suggesting they're becoming increasingly concerned about navigating this complex digital landscape.
Are you managing to monitor you children's viewing? How do you keep your children safe online?
