Despite the pandemic there has been a rise in the number of new businesses opening across the UK.

You & Yours has found that despite the pandemic there has been a rise in the number of new businesses across the country.
At the start of lockdown numbers fell, but between April and September, the Office of National Statistics has seen over 7,000 new food services - including hotels -start trading, and almost 35,000 retail businesses, for online and in shops. We speak to new business owners who launched this year, despite having to close numerous times due to the changing level of restrictions.

At the beginning of lockdown, there were reports in a surge of printer and ink sales as we moved our offices into our front rooms. However what is more surprising is that people seem to be turning back to more old fashioned ways of getting your ideas down on paper as sales for old fashioned stationery rise. We find out whether the pen is proving to be mightier than the keyboard.
