The Going Luffy-senpai sails through a hailstorm, and the Straw Hats and their friends learn of the Barto Club鈥檚 navigational incompetence. That night, Luffy and Bartolomeo are captured by female pirates led by Desire, who turns out to be Bartolomeo鈥檚 childhood friend, and they are taken to an island called Silver Mine. There, Luffy is trapped in a silver ball, and a man named Bill, the leader of the Silver Pirate Alliance and the user of the Smelt-Smelt Fruit, prepares to kill him. Bartolomeo comes to his rescue, but they, as well as Desire who is chasing them, fall into a crevasse. When Bill hears of this, he orders a man named Averon to take care of them.
