In the mines, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire are attacked by Averon, the rail car human. They are sent plummeting further underground and encounter former members of the Silver Pirate Alliance.
In the underground mines, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire are attacked by Averon, the rail car human. They are sent plummeting further underground and encounter former members of the Silver Pirate Alliance. They tell Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire that they have been enslaved by Bill for not being able to please him, but Desire refuses to believe them until Averon confirms that Bill gave the order to kill her as well. Averon starts attacking them again and unwittingly frees Luffy from the silver ball. Bartolomeo, who manages to get the sticky substance off his hands, helps Luffy, and together they defeat Averon. Peseta informs Bill about Averon鈥檚 defeat, and Bill orders the underground mines to be buried.
