Why Savernake Hospital is cutting beds. The new pet cremation service in west Wiltshire.

Health bosses say they will cut the number of beds at Savernake Hospital in Marlborough by half for three months because they are having problems recruiting staff. This morning Matthew spoke to the head of Community Services at NHS Wiltshire, a representative from the uniion Unison, and Devizes MP Claire Perry about the issue.

A Wiltshire councillor's standing by comments he made about the Hillsborough Disaster, despite sparking outrage. Russell Hawker made the remarks on his Twitter feed. This morning he explained why his views are fair, and Matthew chatted with Kevin Harrington from the Swindon branch of the Liverpool Supporters Club who is also a member of the Hillsborough Trust.
