Gethin Jones visits a new school for children caught up in the conflict in Afghanistan

Remembrance Week celebrates the courage, emotion and sacrifice made by thousands of people from all walks of life and from all over the UK. Presenter Gethin Jones explores the unheard personal stories of people whose lives have been touched by war, from World War One to recent modern-day conflicts including the Falklands, Northern Ireland, Palestine and Afghanistan. War veterans, active service men and women as well as stories from civilians and families form the heart of this series.

In this clip a British Army Soldier shows Gethin Jones round a new school in Afghanistan's Green Zone. While Gethin is meeting the local children suddenly the Army personnel surrounding the site suspect something sinister may be happening near by. Gethin ends the clip by explaining how things change very quickly from being peaceful to a potential threat in this kind of environment.
