Operating from a Chinook helicopter, the MERT collects casualties from the frontline whilst Jay protects both the helicopter and crew from enemy fire. Dramatically evoking his life with the MERT, Jay describes the unnerving experiences faced each day on board the most traumatic nursing station in the world.
