Probability problem - how many women were in a lecture?
Three people exit a lecture theatre, and the lecturer notes that there was a 50-50 chance that, if the people in the room came out at random, the three who exited would all be women. A classic probability problem is set and explained by Marcus du Sautoy in this panel game.
