Dan visits the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg

Once the Winter Palace, the official residence of the Russian Tsars. It was here that Sir Robert Walpole's grand collection of paintings was first brought when it was acquired by Catherine the Great in 1779. The majority of the collection remains there to this day.
