Playing sports and music in Spanish
An English schoolgirl, Ashleigh, talks to her Spanish friends, Alejandro, Javier and Sara via a tablet. Alejandro is 鈥渁burrido鈥 (bored) and she tries to help them find something that they would all like to do. The Spanish children speak only Spanish so Ashleigh repeats and explains key vocabulary. They try el f煤tbol (football) but Alejandro 鈥渏uega mal鈥 (plays badly) and hates it (odio). He also hates el baloncesto (basketball) and despite shouts of 隆venga! he doesn鈥檛 want to play. Nor does he want to go swimming. When asked 驴Qu茅 te gusta hacer? Alejandro wants to 鈥渢ocar la guitarra鈥 (play the guitar) as he thinks he plays well but the others disagree. Finally they find that they all enjoy 鈥渆l teatro鈥 (acting) 鈥 鈥渕e encanta el teatro鈥 says Alejandro.
