The Science Behind Protein
Graphics, interviews, food experiments and commentary shows the importance of protein in a healthy diet, rich food sources, its function in the body and its molecular structure. It explains the importance of protein in building and repair body tissues, such as muscles and organs vital to the body. A case study of rugby player Danny Cipriani is used to show how a diet with good sources of protein are important for his training. Proteins are made up of amino acid chains.
