Titch and Ted have more fraction problems to solve as they continue to work on the odd jobs at Mr Pie’s house. They are in the garden and there are sandwiches to share, windows to be cleaned and bottles of water to leave half full.

It is a good thing Titch knows about fractions – she uses her knowledge of halves and quarters to help Ted. They learn that two quarters are the same as one half and that four quarters make one whole. Ted also discovers that as 1 litre is 1000 millilitres then half a litre must be 500 mililitres.

A good day for maths but Mr Pie is not so pleased about Ted interrupting his shower by turning on the garden tap!
