Journalist Sue Lloyd-Roberts: ‘I’m counting on a donor’

Sue Lloyd-Roberts is an award-winning journalist who has worked for both the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú and ITN. She was the first journalist into Homs in Syria, smuggled into town in the back of a car, was sentenced in her absence to seven years in prison in China for her reporting and was one of the first journalists to talk about female genital mutilation.

She has also been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and urgently needs a donor with matching tissue type so she can have a stem cell transplant.

Sue will be keeping a video diary for the programme but in her first interview with Victoria, she spoke about her diagnosis and her search for a stem cell donor.
