RMT's Steve Hadley: 'Tube strike about industrial dispute, not politics'

On today's tube strike, RMT union assistant general secretary Steve Hedley told Daily Politics the strike largely down to a dispute over "work/life balance".

Mr Hedley says the proposed rotas "are rotas from hell" with staff being asked to work "27 out of 28 weekends". He criticises government plans to reform trade union legislation so that a strike affecting essential public services will need the backing of 40% of eligible union members to go ahead.
