Labour has to come across as ‘party of the future’
Labour MP Liam Byrne explained his ‘Red Shift’ strategy to help the party win more seats in England at the next general election.
Looking back to May, he said voters “did not know who we were any more”, and that Labour should be coming across as a party of the future.
Jo Coburn asked the Birmingham MP whether he could see Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell take on the real job in a Labour government.
