Ashworth: People were fed up with politicians like me
The public have become "a bit fed up with politicians like me" says shadow Cabinet Office minister Jon Ashworth.
He was speaking to Andrew Neil about Jeremy Corbyn's style and policies, such as Trident, the EU and QE.
The Leicester MP said the party wants to debate issues with its members and voters, and added: "We're going to announce a direction of travel but we're not going to come out with a comprehensive set of policies at this conference."
He was also asked about a previous invite from Lisa Nandy for the Daily Politics presenter to attend a shadow cabinet meeting.
