Sexual consent: 'I didn't realise it was rape'
How much do young adults understand about the issue of sexual consent - and what are the potential grey areas?
We discussed the issue with a group of young adults, in a frank conversation that may be unsuitable for children.
They agreed the issue was clarified by a video - http://bit.ly/1M9mjc5 - using the analogy of offering someone a cup of tea.
Kayode Modupe-Ojo was cleared of rape in 2014 - using the tea analogy, he said, "I was asked for a cup of tea, I made a cup of tea, drank the tea... and she then decided she didn't want the tea".
Beth Cleasby - who waived her right to anonymity - said she was raped in 2009, but did not understand it was rape at the time.
