'I was insulted by sexual consent workshop invitation'
University student George Lawlor says he has been driven out of lectures and called a 'rapist' after he questioned whether sexual consent workshops were effective.
The 19-year-old politics and sociology student at Warwick University wrote in a blog that most people, "don't have to be taught to not be a rapist," after he was invited to attend a university workshop on consent.
The National Union of Students estimates that as many as one in seven women experience some sort of sexual violence at university.
