Zac Goldsmith: 'I made a promise on Heathrow'
Conservative London Mayoral candidate Zac Goldsmith has welcomed a delay to a final decision on expanding Heathrow airport.
Business groups have reacted with anger, with the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) describing the delay as "gutless".
Mr Goldsmith, who promised to resign if Heathrow was expanded, said he did not know how the decision was reached but that he was "pleased" if his campaigning against the proposal had had an effect.
