The charity helping Sayulita's turtles
A charity in Mexican town of Sayulita is helping to conserve olive ridley turtles by protecting their eggs from poachers and predators.
Eggs are collected from nests on the beach and moved to enclosures.
Once hatched, the turtles are then released onto the beach at dusk.
Sayullita is one of 28 towns to be recently added to Mexico’s "Magic Town" (Pueblos Magicos) project which recognises communities judged to have unique qualities.
