Why MPs are getting a pay rise 10 months after the last one
The Scottish National Party has told this programme that it is calling on all 54 of its MPs at Westminster not to take next month's planned pay rise for Members of Parliament.
It comes 10 months after politicians were awarded a controversial 10% pay rise and means their current salary will soon be just under 拢75,000.
But who decides how much they are paid, and how do their salaries compare with their counterparts around the world?
