How one little boy won the battle to find his voice and beat his phobia of talking
Daniel Rowland is a young boy who had selective mutism, or a 'phobia of talking'.
It is an anxiety disorder that prevents children and adults speaking in certain social situations, such as in lessons at school or in public. Yet often, they are able to speak freely to close family and friends when no-one is listening.
Daniel and Fran Rowland joined Victoria to explain how he overcame the condition, and how it has opened a new world of opportunity.
