What are legal highs?
England and Wales will ban legal highs from 26 May as the Psychoactive Substances Act - a blanket ban on all legal highs - comes into force.
Legal highs are obtained from substances you can buy in a high street shop or those intended for other uses.
The government has been under pressure to act after reports of young people addicted, mentally unwell and even dying from products you could buy in a high street shop.
