Vince's world has become one of boredom. His marriage is in crisis, his job as a taxi driver is degrading and above all his beloved son Tim is no longer in his life. Day after day he endures the same struggle - feelings of tedium, frustration, and bitterness - and he can鈥檛 see anything ever changing. So when friend Colin re-enters his life it鈥檚 like a flash of blue across the grey skies. About David Morrissey
David is considered to be one of the most versatile and accomplished actors of his generation, having starred in a range of roles for film, television and stage.
David has appeared in some of the UK's most popular and critically acclaimed television dramas of recent years, including Holding On (1997), Our Mutual Friend (1998), Clocking Off (2002), the six part 麻豆官网首页入口 political drama State of Play (2003) and Channel 4's The Deal (2003) in which he starred as former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown. David went on to win an RTS Award (Royal Television Society) for his depiction of Brown. Most recently, David was seen in the 麻豆官网首页入口's The 7.39 (2014) starring alongside Sheridan Smith and Olivia Colman. He also reprised his role as 'The Governor' in the fourth series of the critically acclaimed US drama The Walking Dead (2014).
His film work includes roles in Hilary and Jackie (1998), Some Voices (2000), Captain Corelli鈥檚 Mandolin (2001), Derailed (2005) and The Reaping (2007) opposite Hilary Swank. He has also starred as 'The Duke of Norfolk' in 2008's The Other Boleyn Girl and in 2009's biopic Nowhere Boy. He can soon be seen in Eran Creevy's Welcome to the Punch, as well as in Earthbound.
