Anna has been going out with Rob for some time. She has been warmly embraced by Louise and her kin, becoming a great friend to Claire, and something of an older sister figure to Grace. Fiercely intelligent, she was deeply traumatised after being raped by Graham Banks, which was only compounded by the fact he was never brought to justice. The attack has made her more cynical and wary – she wants to forget it ever happened, but she can’t.
