Candelas raucous, blues-tinged indie rock resonates with heavier influences than are typically found on the S卯n Roc Gymraeg: Queens of the Stone Age, Band of Skulls, early Kings of Leon and late Arctic Monkeys. Their bilingual debut album 鈥楥andelas鈥� (2013) was the sound of a band reaching, sonically, but also aspirationally. Our borders are unlikely to contain them.
