Mark Addy on Rob

“Rob is not your everyday policeman and the fact he is one is secondary to who he is as a person. It just happens to be his job, and not one he’s doing particularly well at or is satisfied with. He is an interesting person who just happens to be a policeman.

Mark Addy

"Rob has lost his way in life and work. His marriage has broken up and his family moved to Australia, so he is a little bit adrift. He has had time off work previously to recover from stress and his boss has put him up for a promotion. He fails the interview miserably as he doesn’t want more responsibility.”
