Brenda Edwards
Brenda Edwards is a presenter, singer and actress whose life changed when she became the last woman standing in the semi-finals of the UK鈥檚 X Factor in 2005.
She has since appeared in several high profile national tours and west end productions including Hairspray, Carousel and Chicago, and is a regular presenter on Loose Women.
Brenda has featured as a special guest for Magic FM's Magic of the Musicals Night (Royal Albert Hall), 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 2 with the 麻豆官网首页入口 Concert Orchestra for a night with Sir Terry Wogan, and Friday Night is Music Night with Paul Gambaccini. Brenda was raised in a Pentecostal church in Luton and was a member of the Church of God In Christ’s (COGIC) 300 strong gospel choir.
In 2016 Brenda was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer; now fully recovered, she uses every opportunity to raise money and awareness for various cancer charities.
