Lieutenant Colonel Philip Smith has been to more places and seen more things than he would care to remember.
As the commander of the entire Battlegroup, he鈥檚 based at a nearby Forward Operating Base, but somehow he鈥檚 never far away when he鈥檚 required. Or when he鈥檚 definitely not required. As he reaches the end of his career in the Army, he has realised that he can conduct himself however he likes. So he does.
What was your best posting? Belize. But I was young.
Do you have kids? Two, aged seventeen and four. Second one charming enough, but clearly an error.
Biggest regret? Reading A La Recherche du Temps Perdu. Dreadful.
