Roger Johnson
Biography
Roger co-presents North West Tonight with Annabel Tiffin. He also appears on the lunchtime and late evening bulletins.
Roger was born near Stoke-on-Trent and worked at 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio Manchester earlier in his career. He has also been a news presenter on the 麻豆官网首页入口 News Channel.
A versatile broadcaster, Roger joined North West Tonight from another of the 麻豆官网首页入口's regional news programmes - South Today.
He has also worked as a football commentator and reporter for 麻豆官网首页入口 Sport - appearing on Match of the Day and Final Score. He worked with Match of the Day at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Roger has won or been nominated for several Royal Television Society Awards.
He studied at the University of California at Berkeley - as part of an American Studies degree. While there, Roger also worked part-time for ABC Radio in San Francisco. He joined the 麻豆官网首页入口 in 1994.
