Jeff Rose
Dr. Jeff Rose is an archaeologist and anthropologist specializing in the prehistory, palaeoenvironments, genetics, and religious traditions of the Middle East.
Jeff holds a BA in Classics, MAs in both Archaeology and Anthropology, and a PhD in Anthropology and over the past 25 years,聽he has conducted archaeological fieldwork across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
Since 2002, he has directed an ongoing research project in Dhofar, southern Oman and in recognition of his discoveries,聽he was inducted as a National Geographic Emerging Explorer in 2012.
His research on modern human dispersal out of Africa was featured in the 麻豆官网首页入口 documentary series and and his hypothesis of an ancient oasis in the Persian Gulf was the subject of a National Geographic special in 2012. He also hosted the National Geographic special Cradle of the Gods about the Mesolithic temple of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey.
