"I鈥檓 not from a musical family and I have actually only started singing in the past 5 years. I grew up listening to country music and have always loved writing poetry and songs but never considered it as a serious career.

About 5 years ago a song came to me, I recorded it on my phone and it was like a light bulb went off I my head and that鈥檚 how it all began.

I haven鈥檛 had any professional training and have self-taught myself to play the guitar and mandolin. The Voice is a great chance for me to have vocal training on an amazing platform."

My children!! oh and heading to Nashville to record songs that I'd written and watching the album being created!

WHAT鈥橲 YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT?

One day I walked up to my car ....when I got there I noticed that the windows where steamed up, and it looked as if someone had been in it...so I became quite worried. I couldn't get the key in the lock then suddenly my friend came up behind me and said 'Hmmm are you ok, I was wondering why you had been trying to open my neighbours' car for the past 10 minutes.....your car is behind you'!
