Ìý Back To Work Wear Thursday 2 January 2003 Ìý
At Manchester's Gallery of Costume, an exhibition - A Suit of Her Own: A History of the Working Woman's Wardrobe, looks at the period 1895-1918 and includes original outfits and accessories such as handbags and shoes.

It's a fascinating look at the development of the woman's tailored suit from the end of the 19th century, when women began to strive for equality with men in the work place.
Jacqueline De Baer, owner of De Baer, corporate clothing design and manufacture and Anthea Jarvis, Curator of the Costume Gallery in Manchester, join Jenni to take a look at how the women of today balance looking good with looking efficient.
Exhibition opened April 2002 and will run until March 2003.
