Ìý Pampering Monday 12 May 2003 Ìý
Is pampering a fun way to bond with your friends, your mother or your sister or just ghastly commercialisation?

It might be a facial, a pedicure, a mere bottle of bubble bath or 5 days with a girlfriend in a health spa - most of us are guilty of spending hard cash on a touch of pampering. So much so, the beauty industry has increased 50% in the past two years and is now worth 1.3 billion pounds per annum. I guess we do it because we're worth it - but are there better things to do with your money?
Professor Mary Sims of the University of Kent, Susan Simms of The Sanctuary and Lindsay Nicholson, the Editor of Good Housekeeping join Jenni to discuss.
