Terms and Guidelines
- Entry is open to all UK residents (incl. Channel Islands and Isle of Man ). Entrants under 16 must obtain parental consent before entering and proof of consent may be requested. 麻豆官网首页入口 employees, their affiliates and persons connected to the competition and their close relatives are not eligible to enter.
- Entries should be received no later than midday on the 15 January 2010 and late entries will not be accepted.

- Entries should contain the competitor's name, address and contact details as well as their song entry. The song entry must consist of both lyrics and a melody. The lyrics must be in Gaelic and can either be hand written or typed and the music recording can be sent in on either tape, CD or MP3. The melody should be sung with the lyrics in full and can be accompanied by musicians and/or a band.
- Entrants can only submit their own original work and declare that their submission does not breach any copyright laws or any other rights of any 3 rd party. The 麻豆官网首页入口 reserves the right to hold any person accountable for any loss incurred as a result of any breach.
- Entrants will be judged on the originality and innovation in style, lyrics and music/melody by a judging panel.
- The panel will consist of the Rapal production team and Calum Macdonald. The panel will listen to all the entries to select a shortlist and a winner. In the event of a tie the head judge will have a casting vote.
- The panel's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prize received by the winner consists of a portable studio and a chance to make a video with the Rapal team. Entrants who do not wish to perform their winning entry can assist the Rapal team in finding an appropriate singer/musicians to perform the song.
- There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.
- Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity if required.
- The winning entrants will be require to assign to the 麻豆官网首页入口 the copyright and all other rights for all purposes (incl. use in all media now know or which may hereafter become known) in their contribution for the full period of copyright and any extensions, revivals or renewals thereof.
- The winning entrant will grant the 麻豆官网首页入口 the unlimited right to edit, copy, add to, take from, adapt or translate their contributions. The winning entrant also waives irrevocably any 鈥渕oral rights鈥 they may have under the laws of any jurisdiction.
- Contributions cover all contributions made by the contestant in connection with the production of the Rapal program including but not limited to the contestant's performance (incl. rehearsals) and spoken, written and artistic materials (incl. audio and video recordings thereof) provided by the winning entrant.
- The 麻豆官网首页入口 reserves the (i) right to cancel or adapt the competition, (iii) to vary or change the prizes, (ii) disqualify any contestant who breaches the rules or who commits an fraud, at any stage, if in their opinion it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control.

- The promoter of the competition is the British Broadcasting Corporation and the applicable law is the laws of Scotland.
- Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering.
