The Vatersay Boys have been nominated in the Scottish Traditional Music Awards in the Best Live Band category. If you see this post before the 23rd of november you can vote for the band by going to Celtic Roots section of the 麻豆官网首页入口 website, which is not too far from this blog!
For those of you who have not managed to hear the boys play, the fact they have been nominated should indicate the level they are performing at. However, don't take my word for it, they will be playing the (Renfrew) Ferry in February, buy a ticket and experience the ceilidh of a lifetime. They are also playing the Barrowlands in December, but it is sold out, so there is no point in suggesting you go to that!
