Is summer on it's way yet?

What's happening with this weather? Four seasons in one day...and another....and another!
Gigha's newest business,Gigha Boats had their grand opening on Saturday, with good food, wine and local music.Unfortunatly it was a wee bitty chilly for Kayaks or boats to be on the water but never the less all went well. They have built an impresive new woden boathouse just near the slip offering Bike hire,Kayaks, rowing boats, wetsuit hire ,snorkels, you want it...the've got it ! All the best to Gordon and June for the season.
Ther is another new exhibition at the Gigha Gallery with a female statue made of old string...actually looks reallly good situated outside the hotel .There is also an impresive range of photographs and paintings inside the gallery.
The Hotel is open as usual with a new chef and the Boathouse is now open again for the summer just need some warmer weather for the beach!
I hear Don's bringing the boat back round shortly to start Gigha Sea Tours up again for the season, check out the website.
Russ is still in the shop......still not sold...hang in there Russ, hopefully soon!
That's about it for just now, have attached a photo this time looking over to Islay the other night, cheers
