This
film is based on Arjun (Vivek Oberoi), who strongly believes in arranged
marriages. But Diya (Aishwarya), his new acquaintance thinks otherwise.
She wants to marry for love.
How
these two characters interact, forms the basis of this light hearted
and fun loving comedy.
We
get to see Arjun living in a perfect world. He loves sports especially
car rallies. He's a great guy who also likes playing practical jokes.
Diya
on the other hand, is a sensitive girl. Believing in love, she expects
to meet that Mr Perfect in Mumbai. She is there to complete
her degree course in social work.
Fate
brings these two characters together. And so begins the saga of
two people whose ways of thinking proves to be a barrier in their
friendship.
Will
they realise that they love each other or will they stand by their
principles? Kyon! Ho Gaya Naa has the answers.
The
initial part of the film is full of mischievous moments with fun
and games but the latter part is dominated with the relationship
between the two main characters.
There
are a few moments in the film which really catch you by surprise
and leaves a lasting impression on you.
These
include director Samir Karnik, making a brief appearance in the
film. Then there is Vivek Oberoi imitating the veteran comedian,
Mehmood and the entry of Sunil Shetty in one of the scenes.
These
moments are sure to be appreciated by the audience.
What
appears striking in this film is the musical score. The tunes have
sprinkle of country western and rock, making it sound very different
from the normal Bollywood music we are accustomed to.
All
the song sequences are visually eye catching thanks to the unusual
cinematography and choreography. This will act as a plus point for
the film.
Vivek
Oberoi acts well as the boy in love whilst Aishwarya Rai not only
looks beautiful but plays her part effortlessly.
The
rest of the cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Om Puri and Rati
Agnihotri provide able support to the proceedings.
Kyon! Ho Gaya Naa will definitely entertain you. With the
presence of an unusual star combination and great music, this
movie is already proving popular with families in the UK.
