Wrexham aim to 'keep it going' - O'Connor

Wrexham鈥檚 Tom O鈥機onnor has happy memories of the last time his team faced Shrewsbury Town.

The sides meet in a League One cross border derby at the Stok Racecourse on Saturday.

O鈥機onnor scored the only goal of the game as Wrexham won in an FA Cup Third Round tie at Shrewsbury in January.

鈥淚t was a little bit of an upset going there when we they were in League One and we were in League Two,鈥 O鈥機onnor told 麻豆官网首页入口 Sport Wales.

鈥淚t was nice to knock them out 鈥 we know what it means to the fans.鈥

Wrexham are unbeaten in their opening four league games and lie second in the table, and O鈥機onnor said: 鈥淚t鈥檚 been a good start.

鈥淣ot many people knew how we would get on in this league so we鈥檙e very pleased to have started like that.

鈥淏ut it is only four games in so hopefully we can keep it going.

鈥淭hree clean sheets out of four 鈥 we鈥檝e had to work hard at times but it鈥檚 a team effort and the lads in front of us put in a shift.鈥
