Phew! What a start to the NFL play-offs, where we've seen rookie QB Brock Purdy steer the San Francisco 49ers to victory over the Seattle Seahawks before watching the Jacksonville Jaguars complete the third-largest comeback ever in the NFL play-offs.

And we're only just getting started, as we've got three more huge games to come on Sunday, so make sure you get some sleep and come back refreshed for our triple-header.

These first two games have shown us anything can happen on the road to the Super Bowl!

Sunday's games

Believe it or not there have been two even bigger comebacks than the Jaguars' 27-point recovery in NFL history..

"I didn’t have a choice, if we’re going to win that game, digging yourself a hole like that, you’ve got to score a lot of points and by doing that your quarterback’s got to play well, so I didn’t really have much of a choice.

"These guys have sacrificed way too much for me to be the reason we lose the opportunity and that’s what I was thinking about - I know I’m going to make the plays I’ve just got to get back on track.

"The guys around me made plays, it's not just me, they made some crazy catches, runs, blocks up front, it’s everybody."

Travis Etienne had a big night on the ground carrying the ball 20 times for 109 yards and a crucial fourth down conversion to put his team in field goal range and he said: "When it gets to that part of the game you have to be the closer, coach trusted me and I had to do something for my team-mates.

"I am glad I was here with this guy (Lawrence) first half we shot ourselves in the foot but we kept battling and we have a quarterback that is easy to get behind."

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence on that incredible comeback:

"You couldn’t write a crazier script! We said in the locker room it’s kind of how our season’s going, we’re never out of the fight.

"I was breaking not a good record in the first quarter, had a couple of interceptions, not looking great offensively, but we just kept believing in one another.

"We knew our defence would get some stops and we’d get enough opportunities to go win the game – I’m kind of speechless just to see what belief can do.

"To see when a team believes in each other what you can accomplish – I mean a play-off game, down 27-0 and we come back to win it, we know we’re always counted out of these games but we don’t care, we love it."

It was a disastrous first-half for Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars, four interception and down 27-0 at one point it seemed like the Chargers were on course for a blowout win. But that touchdown just before the half seemed to breathe life into their team.

It was all Jacksonville in the second half as Trevor Lawrence finally settled into a rhythm and the former college national champion showed the poise that earned him so many admirers. It felt like Los Angeles would still have enough to hold off the surging Jaguars.

But a gutsy call from Doug Pederson to go for two after the penalty on Joey Bosa paid off big when Lawrence converted meaning their last second field goal from Riley Patterson gave them the win.

What an unbelievable turnaround from the Jags!

Out comes Riley Patterson with an attempt to win the game. Brandon Staley calls a timeout in an attempt to ice the kicker.

It does not matter as Patterson's kick is through the uprights and the Jaguars have pulled off the seemingly impossible.

On fourth down, the Jaguars line up with backs behind Lawrence but it is all a set-up. They hand it off to Etienne on an outside run and he gets to the edge and gets the Jaguars inside the 20 yard line.

Trevor Lawrence escapes the pocket on first down and runs for eight yards before getting out of bounds.

On second down he hooks up with Christian Kirk yet again for another first down. They manage to get one more play off before the two minute warning and they are into Los Angeles territory.

On first down, Lawrence's pass is batted down by Kyle Van Noy who is almost able to reel it in for the interception.

On second down it is much better from Lawrence who fires one into Kirk and he makes the most of the catch racking up seven more yards and a first down.

That is exactly what the Jaguars needed! On third down, Herbert finds Joshua Kelley a few yards from the line of scrimmage, he bobbles a catch before reeling it in but he is tackled well short.

From 27-0 down Jacksonville have the ball, three minutes and all of the momentum.

It was like a library in the first half but now TAA Bank is rocking and Roy Robertson-Harris gets great push to get home and sack Justin Herbert.

Ekeler is bottled up on second down and it is third-and-13.

The Jags are now in striking distance of the endzone. Evan Engram catches Lawrence's pass over the middle and turns it into a 21 yard gain setting his team up at the 11 yard line.
