Time for us to end this live here.

We'll be back with Pakistan v Scotland at 13:45 GMT where we'll work out the semi-final fixtures.

In the meantime I'll leave you with Matt Henry's report as New Zealand beat Afghanistan to reach the semi-finals and knock out India.

Here's some of the best clips to watch again too.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson: "It was a strong performance. We know how dangerous they are with match winners in all departments. It was a 150 surface, so we knew there were some big threats, so we tried to suck things up.

"We would have batted first, it's been a challenge playing at three venues, that's the beauty of the game. We have another strong challenge coming up and a great fielding effort today.

"We knew in the day games you have to set a tone, bring an energy and we saw that which was pleasing.

"England are a strong side, it is important we keep learning, focus on the cricket we want to play. It has been incredibly tough, a lot of tight games and it should be an incredible occasion."

Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi: "It was the plan to put a decent total on the board, we did not start well and after a 50 partnership we did not finish well. We were 30 runs less than what we wanted. 160 would have been a decent total on that pitch.

"Our bowling was strong on this kind of pitch, but without a decent total on the board and the pitch not helping we did our best.

"We played some good cricket, we take a lot of positives and work on it for the future games coming up."

    Williamson is an absolute gent.

He is chatting to three of the Afghanistan players on the boundary rope. I presume about the art of batting and rotating the strike. They could definitely learn from him.

Kane Williamson says that par would have been around 155 on that wicket. That shows how good New Zealand's bowling and fielding performance was.

Brilliant moments like this saved them runs.

We now know that tomorrow's game against Namibia will be Virat Kohli's last as India's T20 skipper.

He is stepping aside from the captaincy in the format after this World Cup.

I can't imagine this was how he dreamt it would end.

Player of the match Trent Boult: "It's nice to tick off the performance clinically.

"The boys are in good spirits, there are big games coming up and we look forward to the semi final. England have been playing some very good cricket, it's an exciting challenge and we look forward to it.

"It's about putting the ball where we speak about in our meetings and being accurate."

Pakistan and England look the two strongest teams, for me.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good this New Zealand side are, please?

They are a tiny nation in terms of population in comparison to other cricket nations but they are the Test champions, 50-over runners-up and now into the last four of the T20 World Cup.

They a relentless winning machine. They are full of world-class, humble and hard-working cricketers.

New Zealand may lack some power in their batting but they've been very, very professional in the way they came back from defeat by Pakistan to win four in a row.

The class of Williamson and the composure of Conway meant New Zealand did that pretty easily in the end.

Kane Williamson finished on 40 not out from 42 balls, while Devon Conway was unbeaten on 36 from 32 balls. They won with 11 balls to spare.

After losing their opening game to Pakistan they have bounced back with four successive wins to progress to another semi-final.

The semi-finals then... we still don't have confirmed fixtures at this stage.

New Zealand are now top of Group 2 with that win on net run-rate.

It is over to Pakistan at 14:00 GMT when they face Scotland. Here are the permutations:

    • If Pakistan win they will go back to the top of Group 2 and it will be England v New Zealand and Pakistan v Australia in the last four
    • If Pakistan lose they will remain second in Group 2 and it will be England v Pakistan and New Zealand v Australia in the last four

I think the right four are in the semis. The Aussies are looking good now.

  18. NZ 121-2published at 17.3 overs

    Need 4 from 15 balls

A well-run two and a single from the first three balls.

New Zealand are one boundary away.

  19. NZ 118-2published at 17 overs

    Need 7 from 18 balls

Devon Conway was six from 12 balls at one stage. He is now 34 from 29 balls. He has more than caught up and that shows the value of not throwing your wicket away in T20 cricket.

New Zealand need just seven more to secure a semi-final spot and knock India OUT of the World Cup.

  20. NZ 113-2published at 16.2 overs

    Need 12 from 22 balls

I said in the interval that New Zealand will have spoke about one partnership and that would probably be enough for them to win the game.

Kane Williamson and Devon Conway have now put on 56 on the third wicket as the latter pumps a four down the ground.

    A match-winning stand.
