How has childhood changed?
  • Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Wales commissioned research from The Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) to find out how childhood has changed for today's generation. The report was based on conversations with children and adults around Wales aged 10 and 11 in their final year of primary school, along with parents, carers and grandparents.

  • When should kids have a mobile?
    Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Wales asked 1000 people at what age a child should first have a mobile phone. The average response was 12 years old but a quarter of parents would let a child have a mobile aged 10, or younger.
  • Poverty's 'legacy' on learning
    Poverty starts to damage a child's education by the time they are seven, new research for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Wales reveals.
