In London,one woman remembers being madly jealous when her husband danced with another woman.

Another woman was envious of her friend's chance to travel round the world.

And one man was happy that his new flat had a balcony, until he visited friends in the countryside. Suddenly, he was jealous of their huge garden.

Babies as young as five months old can be jealous.

Language tip

Despite how it looks, we pronounce the word jealousy 'jellussee' (or /'d蕭el.蓹.si/).

Cultural tip

Green is the colour of jealousy and envy. We even call it the 'green-eyed monster'.
