Melanie Rothman : Oboe

Melanie Rothman

Seventeen year old Melanie is at The Purcell School and has been playing the oboe for five and half years. She also attends the Junior Department at the Royal Academy of Music where she is the Principal Oboe of the Junior Academy's Symphony Orchestra, a position she also holds with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.

Melanie is studying for AS Levels in Music, German and English Literature and has a particular passion for the fashion and art of the 18th Century.
