The Word
Jesus, the Son of God, is the second part or 鈥榩erson鈥 of the TrinityThree persons in one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.. He is also described in the Bible as the 鈥榃ord鈥 of God.
The Word became flesh and lived amongst us.

Fully human and fully God
Jesus was fully human. Christians believe that he lived his life like any other human, with the same experiences and emotions. He suffered pain at his crucifixionRoman method of execution by nailing someone to a cross, often until they die of asphyxiation; used on Jesus and many others., and his ability to acknowledge human suffering was only possible because he was fully human.
During his life, Jesus showed that he was also fully God by teaching and performing miracles and healings. At his trial, and all the way up to his death, Jesus maintained that he was the Son of God, and Christians believe his resurrection is even further proof of this.
