The incarnation of Jesus

Christians believe that the was visited by the Angel Gabriel, who told her that she was to have a son and he would be named Jesus. He would be a baby:

Fully human and fully God

Jesus was fully human. Christians believe that he lived his life like any other human, with the same experiences and emotions. He suffered pain at his , and his ability to acknowledge human suffering was only possible because he was fully human.

During his life, Jesus showed that he was also fully God by teaching and performing miracles and healings. At his trial, and all the way up to his death, Jesus maintained that he was the Son of God, and Christians believe his resurrection is even further proof of this.
