DomBLOG 3 - The sequel to Blog 1 and Blog 2...

Blimey!!!!! It's never easy is it? I was watching in a packed Pub close to home and there were lots of worried faces at half time. All that "we're going to stick 6 past them" rubbish soon looked mis-judged.

When you have a player like Stevie G in your side - you're always in with a chance - whether you're playing Trinidad and Tobago or Brazil in the world Cup Final. And what a goal!!!! Beautiful.

Anyway - all is good with me. I'm enjoying the shows from Germany as i'm sure lots of you are too. I like the " Dave meets the Animals" bit especially....

At the moment I'm trying to get my little boy interested in the World Cup - he likes it when the goals go in but isn't so keen on the other 80 odd minutes. So, to make it more exciting we've started counting the amount of times the ball is kicked. 1 thousand and eighty nine is not bad going for a 3 year old. Try it. It's great.

I don't have much voice this morning - I'm writing this at 6 am - just heard from Carrie and she sounds rough too. Great - News and Sport dream team.

Hope everyone's enjoying the football anyway. Also - thanks to the people who sent cake in. Wasn't really expecting any so very nice thank you. I am very grateful. That said, not a massive fan of sponge so if you are planning on sending any in .....

Oh well at least we won yesterday - dont you think people should stop moaning? I mean it was never going to be an easy game, some people just expect us to thrash everyone. It really annoys me.
