What would you do with £45 million?

Tris Cotterill | 15:47 UK time, Friday, 20 November 2009

After two groups won £45 million on the Euro Millions lottery we asked Russell what he would do with the cash and then just because we like you so much we asked some members of our wonderful studio audience!

Personally, I'd build a lovely little (big) bungalow/cottage style type thing that's got everything including a huge garden and a mote to go around it so no-one can come in, unless they fly :) x

To be honest, I'd be excited that I could turn the heating on earlier and have name-brand cereal. I'd give most of it to my mum so she wouldn't have to work 3 jobs anymore. And I'd go out for a meal and have a starter! I've never had a starter.

45 million is alot, so i would treat my parents to a really special holiday as they have done so much for me over the years, if they wernt here to support me, i would not be who i am today, would also give the majority to various charities as there are people and animals out there who are far worse off than me and would need the money more than i do, money isnt everything, id prefer it went to a better cause were it would help people less fortunate than myself.

I think you could buy a lot of starters!

I'd pay an army of scientists to find a cure for type-1 diabetes so I don't have to inject ever again!
If I had any money left i'd buy my mum anything she has ever wanted.

Nobody needs that amount of money, so I'd probably go mad and use it to put a free bouncy castle in every town centre. Just because people need a bit more joy in their lives and I reckon that bouncy castles are a great place to start :D

Ooh, and I'd go first class on the train. Just to see if it's really worth it. And probably travel the the nearest place that there was one of KimberleyAnne's bouncy castles.

Thats alot of money! I think I would have to put myself last and make my parents dreams come true after all they put us kids first whatever the situation. id give money to family to choose what they will with it. id buy my own home with a garden and farm animals to roam freely and open a cattery and dogs home for the homeless. id fly first class just the once to oz to see my partner then still live in the real world. id pay for Russell to entain myself with mates for a comedy show. Id give some to charity or build a home for kids who are less fortuanate. the rest i am not sure but it wont be wasted, ill still be me. id lay on a xmas dinner for the elderley and arrange trips out after all they gave us our future. x
