Areas of beautiful Pembrokeshire feature in the movie, including the long sweeping beach of Freshwater West. The beach played host to the magnificent climactic battle scenes in the film between the French and English, which involved over 1,500 cast and crew members.

The actor who plays Will Scarlet in the Hollywood epic, Scott Grimes, said: "What we did in Wales, I was scared out of my mind every single day there... We had more than 100 horses riding side by side, galloping down the beach, and we had no idea where the cameras were. It felt like we were in the war. The whole shoot was incredible."
