Bringing a sense of magic to Threadneedle Street

Designing a 'magic market'

The world of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is one rooted in a Georgian world we once knew - but with a key difference; a history of magic.

Many scenes, such as Mr Norrell's enchantment of York Minster's statues, are set in places that are known to many. Threadneedle Street, where Vinculus' sells his fortune telling skills, is one of them.

But Vinculus is not the only fortune teller selling his wares on the iconic London road - here you can see some of the designs of his rivals' stalls created during the production design process.
