6 must-see acts at Reading on Sunday

The festival weekend is nearly over - but by no means is the party ending any time soon. There's still a multitude of artists waiting to perform and have us all dancing, singing and thanking the skies it's bank holiday tomorrow.

If you're wondering how to get in on the action then wonder no more. Here's the full lowdown on from home.

1. Biffy Clyro

If we told you Biffy Clyro was over 20 years old, would you believe it? Well you better start believing, as it was 1995 when three boys from Kilmarnock started making beautiful music together.

So why are they a must see act? Besides being an award-winning, chart-topping band, the trio encompass everything under the umbrella of rock music, from alternative to experimental to post-hardcore. All those years of playing and practising are evident in their sound.

2. Spring King

What began as a solo project from songwriter and producer Tarek Musa, has become a four-piece with a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts in the UK. Expect raucous and infectious melodies delivered with bundles of energy from a band championed by 麻豆官网首页入口 Introducing.

We can't get enough of , and neither will you. Get in the mood and watch them play City at SXSW 2015 - incidentally the first ever song played on Beats 1 radio, by none other than Zane Lowe.

3. Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy are the essence of American rock band glory. Their pop punk offering is unrivalled due to their lively stage spirit, their cleverly-worded lyrics, and the way their songs get stuck in your head all day long.

As one of rock’s biggest selling bands, it would be a musical loss to miss them perform this year.

4. The 1975

If you enjoy indie with a side of melancholic pop, mixed with alt rock and served up with carefree dance moves then look no further for who to check out today.

Following the release of their Mercury Prize nominated album I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, The 1975 have taken the music industry by storm and have quickly grown a huge fan following.

5. RAT BOY

At only 20 years old, RAT BOY has firmly placed himself as one to watch after winning Best New Artist at the NME Awards this year and making the shortlist for Brand New for 2016 by MTV. Influenced by The Clash, The Streets and compared to Jamie T and The Beastie Boys, his musical style fits the bill of hip hop and indie rock, but by no means is limited to just those styles.

6. Savages

London’s own post-punk revival quartet are here and guaranteed to go down a treat. With a sound reminiscent of Joy Division and Siouxsie, Savages are the perfect way to honour the final day at Reading.

Their sophomore album Adore Life has been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, which is no surprise after witnessing their captivating set at Glastonbury.
